approx 2 weeks ago I wrote in about my washer not draining well, and I was told to check the pump and that I could get to it by removing the front panel, How do I do that,I'm a gas service tech, so I work on dryers etc. do I have to take the top off first(like a dryer). thanks

Near the bottom of the front panel there are 2 screws to remove the front panel. You don't have to remove the top. Here is the the breakdown on your machine, Model MAH5500BWW

I just checked for the screws, all I can find at the bottom is what appears to be clips or hinges

Sorry, wasn't looking at the model itself.
There are screws around to opening where your clothes go in. Then you can release the clips and the wiring, I'm going from memory here.....I have a set of these in the back of the shop somewhere!
You can see a bit of it from the breakdwon I posted earlier.

The pump itself may need replacing.
