Dishwasher will begin to fill when you start it, but after it starts the wash cycle it shuts off only after a few seconds. It will restart by itself in about 20 seconds then shuts off again. It will repeat this for about 3 times then it totally shuts down

Most likely the problem is a bad motor. The seals have to be replaced too.

- The part number for the motor assembly is AP3856446

- The part number for the seal kit is AP3853425

Thanks for the info! Knowing it is a relatively inexpensive dishwasher and we have replaced a part already, do you feel it is economical to fix it or just replace with another brand?
