Washer sometimes leaves standing water after the end of the cycle. To the point now of saying usually leaves water. I checked baskets inside but no build-up or blockage. Float valve in bottom left corner is free. I blew air through hose going to disposal and couldn't detect a blockage. What's next? I appreciate any help.

We ran normal cycle yesterday. It was silent for the final 4 minutes. I just ran rinse only cycle and it was silent for last few minutes. I think that you're on to something. What are next steps please?

If you feel comfortable making live voltage tests, check for 120VAC when the motor is supposed to be running and is silent. If you get the voltage, replace the motor. If not, the problem is likely to be in the control board.

Thanks for your help. I will update after I replace the pump.:)

I was intimidated about pulling the washer out to check the entire drain route. I blew air through the line where it connected to the disposal and thought it was clear when air came through. I finally pulled the washer out to replace the drain pump and found a broken piece of a chop stick stuck in the impeller. Air could make it through and apparently the chop stick would sometimes float free of the impeller. The dishwasher was held to the cabinet with two wood screws. The electrical and flex water connections were long enough that sliding the washer out wasn't an issue at all. My advice to anyone with a draining issue is that they pull the unit and check the hoses and pump for obstructions. There's really not much to it. Many thanks to magician59 for isolating the issue with the drain pump.:)

Glad you were able to get it fixed! You saved yourself a ton of money by doing it yourself.

 I removed a broken chop stick that had lodged in the drain pump impeller. The first time that I ran a regular cycle it drained during the wash cycle but didn't drain after the final rinse. I pushed start to get a new cycyle and then start again to cancel and activate the drain. The cancel cycle drains the tub and makes the start light blink for 90 seconds. It worked. The last 10 cycles have been hit or miss on the final drain. Now I can't get it to drain on the 90 second cancel cycle. What gives? It seems like I need to reset the brain.
