Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 9/27/2008(UTC) Posts: 1		During the spin cycle, the machine thumps and does not spin out smoothly. Pieces of flatten plastic have been appearing in the drain area. I've checked the ans secured suspension parts.

Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 9/24/2008(UTC) Posts: 66		I think what your finding is shaving of the outer tub, You have the inner tub (which is stainless steel, and like a cheese grater) and the outer tub which is hard plastic. This is sounding like a MAJOR operation. The rear bearing and shaft is allowing the inner tub to touch the outer tub. Repair would include the entire outer tub replacement and the inner tub because the shaft is welded to the stainless steel tub.
