GE washer WJRE5500G1WW. Problem before---fill, idle, drain, fill, idle, drain and stops. Timer knob does not move. LED blinked in series of 4 blinks. NOW..received new motor and shaft mode shifter assembly and lid switch assembly and installed all. Problem persists--fill only and no drain and timer knob does not advance but this time LED light blinks forever. Tried ways suggested to correct error code (unplug/plug), open/close lid 5 times, etc, performed field work, etc..nothing seems to work. Am tempted to get a new control circuit board???

The washer is a GE hydrowave washer model WJRE5500G1WW. The problem was what many owners have, for the past 4 years, posted in this Forum and I thank you all. My problem was like many of yours--washer fills and drain only. Resetting the code did not help. A new led switch, new fuse, new motor, new control board and new coil, practically a whole new washer did not help either. The problem came down to a pinched orange line going from the lid switch to the motor and a simple ohms test found that. I have learned my lesson and I thank this Forum and all participants.
