JUST BOUGHT USED MAYTAG, FREEZER ON BOTTOM, AUTOMATIC ICEMAKER NOT WORKING. WATER SPILLING AND FREEZING ON BOTTOM OF FREEZER - NOT INTO ICE BUCKET. SUSPICIOUS HOLE IN BACK OF INSIDE OF FREEZER BEHIND ICEMAKER - DOES A TUBE BELONG WHERE HOLE IS TO BRING WATER TO THE ICEMAKER? I do not have a manual.

Yes you should have a fill tube coming out of the freezer. Here is the part number as well as a parts diagram link. Hope this helps.

Thanks Jeff! The tube was there but it was misguided and not coming through the back wall into the icemaker. We got it attached. All is well!!!
