I have tried to troubleshoot and am not finding much on the model number for my dryer, it is an older model. Never the less, it is squeaking very loudly. It does it intermittately but is still worrysome. We would like to try do it yourself but if at all costs are beginning to consider a new dryer, any tips, help or advice...please? :)

Disconnect the power to the dryer. Raise the top of the unit, 2 clips in the front corners, and remove the front panel. Remove the front shroud assembly holding the drum in place. Next remove the belt from the motor, be sure to look at the way the belt is around the motor pulley and tension pulley for reinstall. Remove the drum. Inspect the rear rollers and the tension pulley for damaged or wore bearings. The part numbers for these parts and the part diagram link is below. Hope this helps.
