Refrigerator compartment is fine, holds good around 40 deg. F. Freezer temp. swings from 10 deg. F to 40 deg. f.

Remove the cover on the back of the fridge and clean the condenser coil. Make sure the fan next to the compressor is running. Post the results.

Here are the break down diagrams for the Amana refrigerator Model TR21VL

I have now cleaned the coils under tbe refrig. and cleaned the fan and vent at the back. I would typically clean this every 6 months anyway ( I haver cats). The temp swing is still about 40deg. F.

Remove the rear cover in the freezer and check how the evaporator coil is covered with snow. Normally it suppose to be 100% of light snow. Also check if the evaporator fan works properly. Post the results.

By the time I got the back out of the freezer, the coils were free of any frost, just liquid condensate. I did unplug ther refrig. to perform this task. There were no signs of ice remaining in the coils. I pluged it in and the fan ran fine, smooth with no noise.

Possible there is a problem with the sealed system. It could be low on Freon or the compressor has low capacity. In both scenarios it has to be serviced by a certified technician.
