I have just received part# 5701M379-60 (Clock with Overlay oven control) and this replacement part is short one of the large electrical terminals for connecting the wires.

The terminal in order from left to right are marked:
BA, L1, BR, MDL, N, L2
The L2 terminal is missing.

I previously ordered a part from another source that was clearly incorrect and it was short a different terminal.

However, The part number (listed above) shows my model of range/oven listed as a "this part fits these models".
My original part has all of the listed terminals with wires connected.

What the heck?

We researched this and it seems that they did away with the L2 terminal. The bake and the broil wires are now L2. So what you need to do is cover this wire well with electrical tape, and hook everything else up where it goes. Hope this helps.

Thank you for your reply!

I am just a bit concerned about this. I already have one part from another online supplier that was the incorrect part for my model that I can not get a refund on. I do not need another expensive paperweight.

If I install this as you mention, and it does not work, will AppliancePartPros.com accept it for return?

Yes, after losing over $150.00 on the other part, I am paranoid some and cautious a lot!

Yes we will, if it is returned in less than 30 days from date of purchase.
