Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 2/17/2011(UTC) Posts: 3		My dryer will turn on if I work with the switch, it seems to catch and then turn on, not all the time however, then the turn off signal comes on and it turns off immediately. Please help.

Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 2/17/2011(UTC) Posts: 3		The model number for the inglis dryer is IED4400309. It will not run. I have to work with the switch and sometimes when I push start button, it runs for a second, then the off noise comes on and it goes off.

It is the timer and the last few days I have worked with it and got it to come on when I push the switch and dryed completely through the cycle. It sounds like a short or something in the timer. What do you think?

Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Moderators Joined: 2/14/2011(UTC) Posts: 816		Yes it sounds like a bad timer. I can get the IED4400 to work but I will need the last three letters to get you the correct timer for your unit. It should be letters not numbers.
