I'm in South America and bought this unit new from an "at your own risk" sorta place for 200$, works fine except the timer just does not want to run for more than a couple of minutes on any cycle before quitting. I read that these timers "hardly ever fail", but sure seems like my timer is bad. Any ideas? Buy a timer???

Thanks!

I would first check the wiring and the connections. It may be that there is a small gap that heats up and gets bigger causing things to shut down.
