My dishwasher is getting backflow from the sink and the garbage disposal. I have the drain hose looped as high as it can go under the sink. It still leaks back and gets water on the floor. I know this because I haven't used the dw. for a few weeks and the dishwasher is still getting water in it. I want to know if this DW has a backflow value or what??? It is ruining my hardwood floor.

You need a PLUMBER, Its the DRAIN pipe under the sink!!!! When the sink drains, part of the water is going back into the DW, The valve on the DW is letting water into the DW

Your dishwasher does have a check valve which if it has malfunctioned will allow water from your sink to get into the dishwasher.
