The lock light on our dishwasher is on and prohibits any other buttons to work and the dishwasher will not run. According to the manual, the lock get set by hitting the 'no heat dry' button and should be reset holding the same button for 4 seconds. We never use the "no heat dry" option so I don't know how the panel got locked. It will not reset as the manual stated. We have tried turning the breaker switch off for 30 minutes and again for 3 hours, and we took the inner door panel off and sprayed compressed air into the control panel openings. The lock light is still on. If we hit 'cancel drain' both the cancel drain light and lock light blink incessantly. None of the above worked in releasing the lock. So we have a dishwasher that is totally out of commission. Any suggestions? Is this something we can repair ourselves?
