My Bosch d/w won't fill up with water. The motor runs and when it hits 0 it doesn't shut off. My brother tried going through the troubleshooting test and it won't do that.

Are we doing something wrong? Any suggestions?

Thank you

Correction: We couldn't get the test program started by recommended Power Scrub and regular wash button, but by the regular wash and quick wash it did. It started on 10 and got stuck on 4 and won't shut off.

It is only using 1.1 amps total.

The first thing I would do is check the water source and the solenoid on the water inlet valve.

Check for 120VAC while the control calls for water.

Here are the break down diagrams for the Bosch dishwasher Model SHU43C06 UC/14 (FD 8211-)
