One day, the microwave was fine. That afternoon, I start it, it has a loud buzzing and generates no heat. Everything else appears fine, lights work - turntable works, but no heat either on food or on the inside of the oven.:confused:

Most likely the problem is a shorted diode or magnetron. For more accurate advise we need the complete model number of the microwave.
