My mother in law was cleaning my oven, since my wife just had a baby, and she wanted to help out. She didn't unplug the oven. She unscrewed the lower heating unit in the oven and pulled it out. The ends hit the metal and "Popped" really loud. I saw some black on the wires so I replaced the connectors and tested the heating unit. No problems there. I checked the breakers. Again no problems. The stove top works fine. But nothing in the oven works. The Display does not have an error signal and if I set it to turn the oven on it acts as if all is well and it showes the oven heating. But the oven doesn't heat. Any ideas would be great.

first thing to check would be to put oven on broil and check for heat since it didnt have a previous problem,if it broils chances are either a wire came loose on bottom unit, or its bad.recheck unit with meter, might also check for burnt wires
