Hello,

I just installed a new Bosch dishwasher and can't get it to run.

I have checked to see that water is going to the unit.

This model has a water sensor in its base and the drain hose has to be 22" above the floor at some point. I did this.

I have canceled the cycle and tried to start a new cycle. When I do this the machine makes a series of hums and then beeps 5 times.

When I close the door and press the start button the number 119 appears on the screen. This happens every time I press the start button. None of the control buttons appear to do anything.

I think the 119 is 1 hour and 19 minutes. Which is the regular wash cycle time.

I called Bosch and they told me to check the things I have already checked.

The correct model # is SHE58C02UC/48

Thanks

The humming you hear is the drain pump. if it runs all the time you could have a stuck float on the base on the unit. but the drain pump starts all the time when you start your dishwasher are you giving it enought time to go to the next step. if you are i would check the float. or the drain line to make sure its pumping out water.
