None of the lights work in the refrigerator or freezer. I tested them in other appliances and they work. I put new one's in and they don't work. It happened yesterday for the first time and then they came on again by themselves and today they went out again and haven't come back on yet. The refrigerator and freezer are both working fine. Anyone have this happen.

Look at the door switch see if it's sticking or something first.

Either both light sockets messed up or the wiring to the sockets. I would look at the wiring to see if maybe a wire is broken or chewed by a mouse.(it happens a lot)

Nat,

I checked under the fridge and found no dead mice or chewed wires so far but what I didn't notice yesterday is the fan is running under the fridge but not the compressor and now the freezer and fridge are getting warm. Could this be related to no lights also?

Anything is possible, but not that likely....do you hear any clicking noises from around the compressor? Check to see if it is in defrost model. See if the fan in the back of the freezer is working.

No clicking sound but now i can hear the compressor but there is no fan running inside the freezer. I don't know if it is in defrost mode! It is still getting warmer tho.

Feel the compressor see if it's really warm....and vibrating.... if so the copper tubes coming out one should be warm and the other cold. let me know what you find.
