Where does it sound like the hum is coming from? Most likely the thermal fuse blew or it partially tripped the breaker. Try to turn the breaker all the way off, wait a second then turn it back on. Test the dryer and let us know how it goes. nat

The humming sounds like it is coming from the control panel the knob that selects the cycle and drying time. I turned off the breaker and back on 3 times just incase it didn't work the first 2. I think you may be right on with the thermal fuse. Is this something you normally order online or can you get it at a local store.
Thanks for the answer!
