Hi. I have power to the dishwasher, but all it does is fillup with water. The motor does not run, nor does it drain. I already replaced the timer, and I get the same result. When I turn the timer I can hear a solenoid popping but that is all.

Remove power from the unit. Then try to turn the motor armature to see if it is jammed. You should be able to do that from the back of the motor using the cooling fins.
If OK Check across the motor to see if it is getting 120 volts.
If it is getting voltage and is not jammed up then the motor is toast. |

I have the same problem. The motor will not run unless I give it a spin using the cooling fins. Once I do so, it runs from start to finish. Would that mean the motor is worn out or could there be another cause?
