If the blower houseing is cracked will this keep the clothes from drying? Can i just replace the blower houseing only or do i need replace houseing and motor?

Depending on the un it you may also have to replace the blower wheel. Sometimes they are seized so bad that the only way to get them off is to destroy them. |

You can just replace the blower housing. It is held on by a snap ring, and a metal clip. Real easy to take off. Also, Yes, the dryer will not heat as well because the air will not be leaving the dryer, if the blower wheel is not spining full speed. So, your operasting thermostat will short cycle as a result.
