My Kenmore refigerator was purchased in 1988. The Damper Control is no longer manufactured. Do you know if there is a part I can substitute?

Part Number is 1108624 Damper & Heater Assembly. This part has a valve between the freezer and refrigerator. It opens to let cold air from freezer into the frigerator.

You're correct misterfixall. $94.55 plus shipping from www3 sears com
you'll have to replace the spaces with dots.
