If there is ice built-up only on a part of the evaporator then, probably there is a problem with the compressor and/or sealed system. Check the manufacturer warranty on the sealed system and, if it's still covered - call LG for service.

I have a LG refrigerator with a bottom freezer. I had the same problem with ice build up. I had to manually defrost the freezer twice. I looked at the defrost circuit board but it looks like nothing on it is adjustable. I have the temperature digital display type. I adjusted the freezer temperature to +5 degree and haven't had a problem since.
The fan noise is from the fan blades hitting the ice buildup on the evaporator coil. The reason the refrigerator is getting warm is the ice is blocking air flow into the refrigerator compartment. I believe that's why your getting the FF reading.
