washer makes loud noise and water is not draining, does not seem to be bearings, help!

Well the first thing you want to do is to take off the bottom service panel and clean out the pump and drain hoses inside the machine. You are going to be amazed at what you find.

I concur. Some modles have a clean out plug, and some you have to remove the hoses from the pump and actually look inside for an obstruction.

Sounds like an obstruction to me.
