Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 9/16/2008(UTC) Posts: 3		Wife's robe belt is wrapped (tied maybe) around the bottom of the agitator. I have unraveled it as much as possible but believe it's knotted since it will not move when pulled one end or the other at this point. Did a search but did not find anything on removing agitator for a Maytag. I have a little tinkering skill to hopefully remove the agitator to get the knotted belt out. Please help. Thanks. Pulling it was the key. Anyway, once off, it was a breeze to unscrew and yank the agitator off to get access to the knotted robe belt. (Not sure if I could have tied a stronger knot than this machine tied :eek: LOL). Thanks so much for your guidance. Quinn
