If you are talking about the door strike (#9 on the diagram) then it's just screws in. If this is some different part, then refer to the diagram numbers.

the part # is 24 AP4364920 it is a catch it hooks into #9 .Do I have to take the door apart to get this part outor does it pry out.

Using a flat blade screwdriver, pry it off on any side of it.
