Can you please recommend 1) possible quick ways to clean the grease on the Vent cover for whirlpool smooth cooktop range model RC8700edb Cover, vent (black) Part Number: AP2983138 made by WHIRLPOOL 2) One of the knob switches doesnt close all the way. It seems to have gotten loose. I still see the red light indication on the first knob just above the red light. Would replacing this knob switch fix the problem Knob- swit Part Number: AP4090065 made by WHIRLPOOL 3) Also, my cooking range has lot of hard stains...cannot remove them anymore. what is the best way to clean it. 4) Is this the correct airfilter model that fits this whirlpool model. Filter Part Number: AP4292427 made by WHIRLPOOL Thanks a lot.

If you have a dish washer I would put both in there to wash them or had wash them with hot water and an old tooth brush.
They make a cleaner for the glass tops you can buy.
You might check the infinate switch to see if you can tighten it up, if not replace it.
