Hi all,

When we try to start our Bosch SHU6806 dishwasher, it displays a 64 minute count, but never starts the cycle. After searching the Internet and this forum, I took out the control module and examined it. I noticed that a post on the 10 amp relay looked burned and solder was missing. I resoldered it, just for grins, but the unit still fails in the same way.

Additionally, several plastic "springs" on the front of the control panel are broken. What a stupid design that is. And I could use a new fascia because some of the tabs are broken.

Given the above, I think that I need the following parts:

Part Details - BOSCH Control module, shu 53/68, part number: AP2802870
Part Details - BOSCH Fascia, black, shu 6806, part number: AP2804374

Since support is provided via this forum, can someone from Appliance Parts Pros comment regarding the parts that I think I need?

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,

Dear Acronce,

What we would like to do first is verify the part you received is correct. If you can please call us toll free at 1-877-477-7278 with your complete model and serial.

I think there's been a misunderstanding. I haven't bought the parts yet. I just want to verify that they're probably the right ones before buying.

As far as calling that number you've given, I've tried that a couple of times. But I haven't had enough time to wait for someone to answer.

I really want to get the right parts and fix my dishwasher. What's the best way to do get there that doesn't involve me spending my life on hold?

Best regards,

I ended up using your live chat to verify the parts. So you can ignore my last post. I've got the info I need and will be placing my order.

Thanks,
