I need help replacing the lower rack of the above dishwasher. I bought and recently received from AppliancePartsPros a new lower rack (8268642) and 2 tine rows (8519589). I have all the other original parts from the old rack, but I'm having trouble properly installing the tine rows in the rack. (The old rack and tine rows were so badly rusted that they were useless as a model for this part of the installation.) You're supposed to be able to keep the tine rows in an up position or fold them down. Various product diagrams indicate that relevant parts for installing the tine rows are tine pivot (8268523) and retainer (8268522)--I've got these parts. But even after hours of web searches I don't see how all these fit together. I've seen many pictures, but not a single one shows how to actually put these things together. I do hope you can help.
Thank you.

Jon,

I think this will help you,

Place the pivot next to the Wheel & Transport Assembly at
the rear of the dishrack and align the center of the pivot with
the vertical tine. Push the pivot straight back, locking it into

place.

Repeat on both sides.

Push the bottom of the retainer down on the horizontal tine
centering it above the transport assembly on the left side at
the rear of the dishrack. Push the top of the retainer back,

locking it onto the horizontal tine.

Push the bottom of the second retainer down on the horizontal
tine, centering it above the pivot on the left side at the rear
of the dishrack. Push the top of the retainer back locking it

onto the horizontal tine.

Take the tinerow with the curved tine containing the rubber
tip and slide the end into the center of the transport assembly
on the left side at the rear of the dishrack
Now place the other end of the tinerow into the
transport assembly directly across on the other side of the

dishrack.

Take the second tinerow with the curved tine containing
the rubber tip and slide it into the pivot located next to
the transport on the right side of the rear of your dishrack
Now place the other end of the tinerow into the pivot directly across on the other side of the

dishrack.
