Our Frigidaire cooktop's (FEC30S6ABF) right front burner isn't working properly. If we turn it on low, it automatically goes to High. If we turn it off, it takes 5 minutes of scary waiting until it thunks and finally shuts down. This is such a fire hazard! I called Frigidaire and they told me to get a service repair person out here. However, I have been reading that it is probably a bad switch. Could you please tell me the part number? Thanks so much for this site! :)

Replacement parts for FRIGIDAIRE FEC30S6ABF Frigidaire/cooktop | AppliancePartsPros.com

I think it is Item 54A in Section 1.
Always best to confirm this with the parts people.
