After being turned off for a couple of weeks, when I turned on the ice maker (with the arm), it now floods the ice bin with water (it fills for about 15-20 seconds). After some researching into forum posts, it seems that I need to replace the control module or the entire ice maker.
One a couple of online parts sites, the control module is listed as a separate part. When I called a couple of places, though, they say you can't get the control module seperately; that you can only get the entire ice maker.
So, just checking to see if it sounds like only control module needs replacing (based on the problem) and if that's a part I can get? Or, do I have to replace the entire ice maker?
Thanks!

Just to help others who might find this thread in a search...
I ordered just the control module and it matched great. I replaced it and it works!
