Is there any reliable rule as to how to level a refrigerator? The installer of our new fridge made it perfectly level, which does not allow the doors to close very easily at all. I have raised the front using the leveling screws to the point where the doors close easily when opened and given a bit of a shove in the right direction.
I have looked it up online and found conflicting advice; some say keep it level, some say raise it so the doors close themselves.
Is there any harm it keeping the front raised?
I know an A/C compressor won't work well if it is badly leveled, but is there any problem with fridge compressors when their fronts are raised within the limits of the leveling screws? Thanks.

It is suggested to raise the front legs enough so the door closes by itself. We have done that on every install for over 10 years.
