I recently replaced the timer as the old one no longer worked. Unfortunately, I did not take note of the timer dial and now the indicator that shows where you are in the wash cycle is off. How do I reset it have the indicator work properly? Thanks for listening.

The piece that fits the timer should go on only one way and thus be set correctly. If your's is off then it may be you got the wrong timer or something changed, but as far as I know there is no adjustment to make.

I was afraid of that. This timer may be bad. The numbers match the old one perfectly but the date is 2000. One example of why I think it may be bad is that the spin cycle fills with water as it spins. Not very helpful.

Well see if you can get the seller to replace it or refund the money. If you bought from this site you can return it if you meet the returns policy conditons.
