My youngest son opened the lid to my wifes new washer, It was still locked, The plastic thing that comes out into the lid broke off and now the washer shuts off with a dl code. I pulled the switch out took it apart and epoxyed the plastic thing back together. BUT when i took the switch apart there was two metal contact things that fellout and i dont know how they went back in. would any one have a exploded view of this switch or know how these two metal things go back in.

Call a certified Whirlpool tech and have them replace the part, if it's less than a year old and you do it you void your warranty.
