GE Monogram Trivection Oven - ZET3038SH3SS
Bought it new from model home (not used) and stored it for a year until we renovated the kitchen. Had company for Christmas - used oven - no problems. Unit says it was made in 2006 but it wasn't used - it was in a model home.
Installed in our new kitchen - worked for 3 weeks. Came home to a blank display.
Fortunately, I found a bad TOP247Y voltage/regulator 6pin chip for $3.80 and replaced it. (found the cracked epoxy casing w/part #) but, Same problem - blank display - nothing works - because I can't start via push button/glass panel.
Voltages seem to be up to the touch pad/glass display - via sniffer/current sensor. I did'nt actually take voltage readings w/a VTVM. All harnesses seem to have current - more so, after I replaced bad part.
Can I troubleshoot to component level (I've done this in the past) but can't find service manual. Or is ist the main power board, or TCO? Not sure of next step.
I have the general schematic of the unit, but not in lots of detail.
Thanks and Happy New Year! David -North Carolina

William, I haven't heard from you all yet.... The below is the FCC #'s for on the GE Oven that you requested. I'll wait over the weekend for a reply - thank you for your help! GE Trivection Oven ZET3038SH3SS Display went blank - came home to a blank display I changed a voltage chip/regulator on the main bd (Part # TOP247Y) but still a blank display. Thank you again, David William, 205C 2900P 001 (I hope that's it) That's all the numbers besides the model and serial #.... David

Hi William, It does not have a FCC id sticker.
However, the microwave does, but this is an oven (non microwave) It is a GE...as you know and have the model numbers...
This is a GE Monogram OVEN and on the front panel is says Trivection. This front panel is not displaying any info- as you know this my problem - blank display.
FYI: Just in case: the Advantium microwave which we bought at the same time has an FCC sticker: BEJX124XGA but there's no FCC sticker on the OVEN We also bought a GE Warmer drawer.
Can you show me where the troubleshooting manual or Service Manual would be. I would be interested in obtaining this. I searched the web and cannot find it - only the owners manual. THank you, David

William,
Can I get the service manual for this product?
Would it be on the main power board? (or control panel bd) I can get those ID #s off the boards

William, I downloaded the service manual (see your previous) and on p 42 is has the flow chart. I followed the chart and got No Voltage from J101 to 103 on MPB No (actually 65 VAC) on EMI bd OUT1 to J103 MPB No (actually 65 VAC) on EMI bd IN1 to J103 MPB YES (120VAC) on EMI IN1 to OUT2
This takes me to the end flow chart and to repair the faulty wiring on the EMI bd, however The wiring is fine - it tests out fine w/an ohmeter.
What is next step? Could I suspsect the One SHot TCO? Do you know the resistance of the TCO?
The 2nd question in the flowchart asks if 120 VAC is present - only 65 VAC is present - I take this as a NO, but wondering if the Mag TCO
Any ideas on testing the Mag TCO? I called GE parts but they were closed due to inclement weather. Thank you, David

Hi William, I followed your instructions. I only found 2 TCOs and both TCOs are okay and fuse is okay. Checked them w/an ohmeter.
What is the next step?
I am in the USA so I can order the part when we nail it down.
Thank you,
David
