My Maytag dishwasher (MDB9100AWQ) seems to be running, but the disches are being cleaned. I suspect the Spray Arm have deposits stoping the spray from being effective. I have a few questions:
• How do I remove the upper basket? It's starting to rust and needs replacing.
  • What's the best way to clean off the deposits? My guess it it's best to remove the arms and clean them separately.
• How do I remove the lower spray arm?
  • How do I remove the upper spray arm?

I've read you "just pull them off". Is using a crow-bar like tool suggested or recommendated?

    Thanks,

For starters the top rack from this site(and this is the cheapest place to get it) is part # AP403825 @$87.63
To remove this rack just remove the cap at the end of the track and slide the rack out. To remove the spray arms Look at this diagram (Model MDB9100AWQ) remove part # 34 for the lower arm and #31 for the upper arm.
    Hope that helps
