Yeah, it figures two weeks out-of-warranty the "light module" (they don't use simple bulbs anymore!!!) which lights up the dispenser area goes poof. I have the new part. It is a single LED with a resistor and a two-wire connector attached to a one inch square circuit board. There is a hole in the board, presumably where a screw goes through to fasten. I can see the old board if I peer up through the top of the dispenser area.

How do I replace this part? There is no outward sign of fasteners holding the dispenser shrouding together. I'm afraid to start twisting a screwdriver in the crevises hoping to pop things apart. Do I have to dissasemble the entire door to make this simple fix? Any ideas???

This is what Kenmore (LLG mfr) calls a Trio (french-door style bottom freezer). The dispenser is in the left-side refrigerator door.
