Dryer shuts off after a while no matter if on the automatic setting or the timed setting. The dryer will immediately start back up, but will run a shorter amount of time. We have dismantled the dryer and cleaned all lint from the vent system. We have replaced the vent hose. Any ideas?

Sounds like you have an intermittent connection some place or a bad motor.
You will need a meter to check things.
