I have a white refrigerator and want to paint it black instead of purchasing a new black one. I have located the black appliance paint. I need to know if it is possible to paint the ice maker and the handles and make them look appropriate. I asked the staff about ordering parts for a black fridge of the same type and there were no replacement parts.

I would not paint a refrigerator. For a good paint job, you have to get the surface free of any contamination and probably need to sand it.
In the end, you will have paint that is much softer than the original paint. It will scratch easy and the surface will never look as good as a factory baked on enamel. Just my experience, maybe there are epoxy or other superior paints now available.
