Ordered and Recieved a replacement Water Inlety Valve -- part number2206123 for my refrigerator, Inlet valve controls water to ice maker and to cool drinking water supplied through the door. The valve is identical to the one being replaced -- except the water connections on tha old valve are all compression/farrel type fittings. The new valve has 3 water connections that are not that type and I'm not familiar with what type ther are (there's a colored sleve insive each opening and what might be some tpye of twist/lock collar on each one. Can I use this part? Do I need to modify the hoses connections and how? Where do I obtain the compatable connectors???

All you do is cut the hose ends below the nut, and push the hoses into the new valve. The new fittings are a push to lock type fitting, you should feel it lock when you push the hoses in the new valve.
