Machine agitates, drains, but does not spin. Can hear noise during spin cycle but no spin. LId swith appears to work as no noise when lid lifts but noise back when closed.

The first thing I would do is remove the washer cabinet and check the motor drive coupling (#13 on the break down diagram).

Here are the break down diagrams for the Whirlpool washer Model LSR7200EQ0

I would remove the outer cabinet, shine a lite in the tub and look for something in the tub. If ok, I would pull the pump and motor and turn the tranny coupler clockwise. If the spin basket fails to turn, or it is hard to turn, you have bad brake shoes or a bad clutch.
