Drum not turning on my GE 4yr old dryer. Power works. No thumping
heard (I was next to it when drum stopped working). GE said most likely
the belt needs replacing.
1). How do I remove the casing to get to the belt?
2). How can I be sure it is just the belt broken?

Drum rotates freely manually both directions.

Thanks someone in advance!!

OK I got the back almost off -do I hammer the plastic wire
holders out off the back panel? or is there an easier way without breaking them?
THE BELT appears fine, now what do I check or do??

Thanks so much!
