Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 1/3/2011(UTC) Posts: 2		We need to replace the insulation wrapper on a 24" stove, but the part has been discontinued. Can we order a 24" wrapper from another brand and use it, or order a Hotpoint 36" wrapper and cut it down? Thanks

Thanks Elizabeth, Yes, You can use either wrapper, Of course the 24" wrapper would be best, less modification. Whatever you do, DON'T use home insulation materials, they don't work and there is a possibility of damage to you and the unit, Good Luck, :) :) :)

Elizabeth, You could check for availability of the following part numbers : WB2X8538 WB2X8537 They appear to be special order items. But they are the insulation wrapper and back insulation for a GE / Hotpoint 24 in. electric range Good Luck, :) :) :)
