hi I had washer passed down to me in 2005 and it worked just fine up untill I had someone storing it for me for about 2 1/2 yrs i went to home depot and bought what I was told the correct attachment for the faucet in order to connect the water hose

First thing is the attachment screw on-to the faucet perfectly but when trying to secure the hose onto it it goes on but when water pressure is increased it pops out just to test if the washer was worker I held the hose in place with my hands but all I got was a stream of water entering the machine

so i'm wondering if the problem is just the wrong connecter or if it's a combination of that and something clogged or perhaps even broken

thank you in advance for all advice

It's probably the wrong connector, they may have given you the one for a dishwasher.

oh my you're so smart! Actually when I went in-to home depot I brought my hose in with me and the first thing the guy said was "dishwasher" and I was like no, it's for my washing machine and guess what; looking at the description that's exactly what he gave me (darn it)...so yeah i'll head back to the store come sunrise and spend a little more time to be sure i'm getting the correct help on finding my part

thank you so much sweety...

Hope you can get the correct one. Some of those connectors also come with additional adapters.
