Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 8/27/2008(UTC) Posts: 1		I have had 2 solenoid assemblies melt within 2 months. What could be causing this? Could the time possibly be sticking cuasing power to melt the solenoid?

Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Senior Expert Joined: 5/28/2008(UTC) Posts: 1,620		Absolutly correct, you need to replace the timer and solenoid together when the solenoid melts. The timer is keeping the solenoid activated to long and causing it to overheat.
