How do I assure that the slotted timer stem is in synch with the dishwasher knob, such that the "start" position on the knob and the timer are interlocked correctly so that the timer is also in the "start" position? If I rotate the timer 180 degrees, the slot in the stem will still match up and interlock with the knob extension.
