I'm trying to convert my GE Cooktop Model JGP328WEK2WW to use LP gas. I ordered a pressure regulator and LP orifices. I have installed the orifices, but when I attempted to adjust the pressure regulator (part number AP4346295) for LP gas the spring retainer didn't look anything like the image in the installation manual. According to the manual, I need to remove the spring retainer which has a NAT end and an LP end and re-insert it with the LP in facing the unit. In the pressure regulator I purchased there are two springs, a larger diameter on held in place by a threaded plastic collar and a second smaller-shorter spring in the center of the first that is connected at one end to the inside of the regulator. I have verified with customer service that I have the correct pressure regulator so, how do I adjust it for LP Gas?

I submitted this question 12/10 per instructions from the "live chat" representative. I was told today that I needed to re-submit to get this to the top of the question list. Can someone answer this question? Thanks.

Is it unclear what I'm asking? Let me know and I'll re-frame the question.
