Where is the pilot light located... I took the shield off in the oven, can't seem to find where the pilot light is.... Oven is not working, when I turn the oven on, after a few minutes I smell gas. HELP!!!!

Lori,

I don't think you have a pilot light,

You most likely have an ignition system (glow bar), and it's probabbly weak,

A model number would be a great help, in our attempt to asisst you.

Since you've already removed the oven bottom / shield, and looked around, did you see something that looks like this, mounted to the side of the bake burner tube ?
