My gas oven ignitor lights the pilot and the pilot doesn't go out. If I turn the thermostat knob to adjust the burner to go on no gas is sent to the burner. I see that it looks like the safety valve and the thermal couple are all one unit, part # (AP4276134) or (Y0056020). Is there a seperate part # for the thermal couple and can this be removed? Is the safety valve bad? or is thermal couple bad? Does anyone know where I can purchase any of these parts? Any help on this matter would be appreciated. Thanks
Chris

Chris Chris, I'd be 95% sure your problem is in the thermocouple, but I can't find a part number for the part itself(separate from valve body). And our parts department information indicates, that part number is discontinued by the manufacturer (Y0056020). You may want to check with a local parts or service company, to see if they have one in stock, or you may want to check the internet under"Antique Appliance Parts" dealers. :( :( :( Good Luck,

I am a landlord and alot of my apartments still have these gas on gas/ combination gas stove and heater. My stoves still run as good as the day I bought them. There is a antique gas parts store in Manchester NH. They specialize in Magee and Glenwood discontinued parts. I have found the parts I need there. I checked the store for you and they do have the part you need, call them 603 625-5440. Their @156 Bridge St 03104. Good luck these stoves are awesome and it is too bad no one makes them anymore.
