Downdraft motor not turning on. Pulled the motor,ran a direct hot,both speeds work. Found a crimped spot in wire harness to motor, looked burnt. Cut and spliced. Motor still not working. Control board appeared to have some dark spots (Whirlpool part AP4010046). Does this control the downdraft motor? I hate to replace the board and find it is not the problem?

I would replace the board.
